please tell me what i need to do to become an oustanding mwchanical engineer and what must i know?

The first step is to reduce the urgency.

The next step is to get some experience, by doing things.

The third step is to present the results in an arena that attracts investment to projects that you champion as a result of your experience.

Try googling Robert Stephenson, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Thomas Telford, Joseph Bazalgette, Frank Whittle, etc., etc...
