Actually, the flag fell down from the force of the blast when the lunar module took off from its landing pad. Many may think that the flag is still standing, but unfortunately it is not.... maybe out of respect that the US was the first to put a man on the moon, they MIGHT be kind enough to put it back up!

Not only is it lying down, but being exposed to direct unfiltered sunlight for so long, all the dyes would have broken down, removing the blue and red and leaving only an enigmatic white rectangle of cloth.
