New Member Introduction

10/31/2005 8:38 AM

Hi All, This is your new friend ANBA. I became a member to this forum very recently. I'm taking this as an opportunity to introduce myself. I have close to 3 years exp. on FEA of aerospace /gas turbine components. I mainly work on ANSYS FEA software. It so happens that in my organization there are 3 other people who share my first name (Balaji) hence they refer to me as ANBA (Ansys Balaji). I would like to share my knowledge in FEM/FEA front, to the best of my ability. Any queries regarding general FEM/FEA & in particular ANSYS related queries are most welcome.

Intro

Since someone else wrote an intro, I figured I'd write one as well. I'm a EEC (that is an electronics-only discipline; very little analog) with 7 years experience in the telecom field. I've worked primarily in the MAN area in OC-3 or higher ranges. I've done work for both Fujitsu and Newbridge (now owned by Alcatel); both ATM devices. If you want to know how the Internet works or need general digital design information, I can probably give a hand. I read CR4 on a daily basis, so you can probably get a good turn around time. Or, if you want a discussion on Bigfoot or Nessie, I'm good for that too.
