Halloween Pumpkin Carving

10/28/2005 1:32 PM

Looking to break away from traditional, boring pumpkin carving patterns? Do you want your pumpkin to be the envy of your street? Then this is the site for you: Extremepumpkins.com. It's got everything from unusual stencils, to the proper power tools to use to carve one, to pyrotechnics to set it (and hopefully not your porch) ablaze.

Have Fun!

Dremel tool!

I can say for certain that a dremel tool makes carving any pattern a lot easier. Put some paper down first though.

Glowsticks

11/01/2005 8:28 AM

We used glowsticks for our pumpkin this year. It was able to add an eerie glow (Stephen King green) to the entire pumpkin. We had an artificial pumpkin this year and did a really intricate design on it, so we kept it inside so it wouldn't get smashed.
