What Thesis Topic to be Chosen for M.Tech. in Power Systems ?

Location- India

I wanted to know what is the current thesis topic trending in power systems. My areas of interest are control system, switch gear protection (digital relays and CBs) ,smart grid etc. but not power electronics or elect. machines.

Also I do not want my thesis topic to be too complex for performing simulation on MATLAB (because MATLAB simulation is mandatory for us).

If possible please provide a link to the transaction papers of IEEE or Elsevier (2011-2016).

The best thesis topic would be to develop some formula to generate other thesis topics. Those will sell like hotcakes.

Why can't you search the IEEE or Elsevier yourself. While you are in school your scholastic library provides the access your tuition pays for. For most people they have to pay to look at these publications.
