Censorship?

03/21/2016 9:13 PM

I thought I posted a thread titled, "In the Interest of Full Disclosure" that was, apparently deleted without explanation.

The subject was: Data firms IHS and Markit to merge in tax inversion deal

Is CR4 no longer, "The Engineer's Place For News and Discussion"?

I don't know about the thread closure, but the deal sounds like England has a much better corporate tax structure than the US. It looks like we are going to die, "The death of a thousand cuts".

I don't see that this is engineering related....

Unless Lyn botched the earlier posting, I certainly have (and more than once), this implies that once again business trumps engineering.

You see that I said, "I thought I posted". Perhaps I made a misstep in the heat of my condemnation of corporate tax gifts.

As far as relevance, SE, "News and Discussion" would seem to be rather inclusive topic.

Just for the record, I had nothing to do with it. (As distinguished from some other threads lately.)

Sorry it took me so long to reply... just seeing this post now. I checked and didn't see any threads by you that were deleted. Must've been a glitch when you tried to post, and it didn't go through. That happens to me from time to time.

But to answer your question, no plans for changes to CR4.

CR4 is getting tired and bored. They don't have unlimited tolerance!
