First of all, learn how to write correctly and use a spell checker.

I am being serious here: it just gives a bad impression when your asking for advise, and, you can't be bothered to make it easy for the people who you are communicating with.

Your English is excellent, by the way.

Thanks for your advice, but first I didn't get answer to my question, concentrate on the content, not in mistakes.

I`m here to get suggestions related to my future not on my English.

"Thanks for the advice, but . . ." is not thanking someone.

Regardless of how the advice perhaps stung you, you need to understand that he is providing timely and necessary advice. Even if it isn't addressing something that you thought it should.

Accepting this advice and applying it will show consideration on your part. It will draw more people to you, to perhaps give you advice in the area that you want.

It's simple. Apply for production-based jobs, either at the facility, or at a different one.

I wonder what the family constrains are for a design engineer???

If you need to change your job to production then what are your expectations in regards to your family live?

There is not technical answer for this as it seems to be a family planning question.

If you ask me a production job might ask more of you than the design engineer job. Only you will know.

Do we even know what engineering field you are in?

As a rule of thumb you can grow out of any situation if you become tall (wise) enough!

Good luck!

I went from engineering to production management. After 12 months I was desperate to escape!

Have you asked your boss/supervisor about a change?? That would be my first step. But be prepared for whatever you may be assigned to.

If you go from having a day time office job to a job where you are working shift work, in the production control room, or out in the plant (not assuming what kind of plant for the moment), how does that help with family constraints?

The best way, if staying within the organization you are now a part of, is to talk to the plant manager and communicate with that person directly (and succinctly) what you would like to do, and ask him how you might be of service.
