I'm a Gemini. Multitasking comes naturally.

I'm driving down the freeway now at 75, voice texting, playing with CR4, while singing karaoke with my two girlfriends.

That reminds me of another 'gift' that has become a bit of a poison pen:

GIFT: The Greater Internet F---wad Theory. The current model can be summed up with the following; [Normal, Sane Person ] + [Internet Access] + [Anonymous or Concealed Account] = [Personal belief that actions will not have consequences] = [Internet Troll]

Now we just need to wait for one of the AP's to take offense and launch into an abusive rebuttal, as the theory predicts.

LOL!!!

But you are right!!

I have a hobby, I play at being an amateur Psychologist!! Its really great fun.

I concentrate on defining (to my own mind only) who is a Psychopath and who is a sociopath.....Just for my own amusement you might say.

There are a few here....I am sure everyone has their thoughts on that!!!

They really "come out of their shells" on the web it would seem......

Most of the online nasty ones are in my personal opinion Sociopaths, often demonstrating low IQ, have only a few different simple ways to be nasty to others, for example.

Psychopaths, more difficult to evaluate, but still pop up occasionally online.....they tend to be above average intelligence, but have basically no feelings for other people.....

That is a bit "short" on explanation though!!

We must not forget that both groups are believed to form between 1 and 2 % of most societies....

There are a lot of interesting websites on the subject if anyone is interested and a wonderful Chan 4 UK program called Psychopath night"", it was transmitted a few years ago, but which can still be found in parts or complete on Youtube here for example:-

Psychopath Night from Chan 4 UK

Internet Trolls 1

Internet Trolls 2

"I concentrate on defining (to my own mind only) who is a Psychopath and who is a sociopath.....Just for my own amusement you might say."

From wikipedia:

"Psychopathy (/saɪˈkɒpəθi/), also known as-though sometimes differentiated from-sociopathy (/soʊsiˈɒpəθi/), is traditionally defined as a personality disorder characterized by enduring antisocial behavior, diminished empathy and remorse, and disinhibited or bold behavior."

Antisocial behavior, no empathy, no inhibitions against doing what some may consider 'harmful,' You know what that sounds like? The typical Corporate Boardroom.

Corporations aren't 'Evil,' per se, they're just greedy, amoral sociopaths. They do what they want, when they want, and if thee punishment for doing wrong isn't strong enough to be a deterrent, they'll do it again, and again. program vehicle computers to cheat on an emissions test? Why not? Underpay and overwork the employees? If it'll improve productivity on the accounting books, go for it? Fire a bunch of workers on trumped-up offenses, then use the saved payroll to fluff up the balance sheet and make the stock look better, then cash in your stock options and drift away on your golden parachute? That's 'just good business practice.'

It would probably be better if corporations WERE out-and-out Evil. You can fight Evil, or at least learn what Evil wants, so you can broker some semblance of peace. But as greedy, amoral sociopaths, corporations don't want anything in particular, they just WANT, and no matter what they get, or how much they get, it does not diminish the primal, hungry WANT. Anything they get only makes them WANT MORE. Orbis non suffit, "Even the whole world is not enough."

Its actually more of an attribute for individuals, than whole boardrooms, but true Psychopaths can be very charismatic and "lead" whole boardrooms in anti social ways.....

Psychopaths often have studied in universities, they figure highly in jobs like sales, doctors, bank directors decorated military and the like.....

Did you take the time to watch the Channel 4 program on Youtube fully, I suspect that as of this moment you haven't, or you might have posted differently.....

Watch it all the way through, its really fascinating, mainly due to the really high quality level of experts speaking from the USA and other countries....

I might go as far as to say its a must really, but your choice.

I have watched it probably 4 times over the last few years, and each time I glean something more that I previously missed.

Did you know that the Hitchcock film "Psycho", may be a great classic film, but it does NOT portray a true Psychopath!!! That is also explained.

As well as films that DO portray Psychos well.......Hannibal for one!!

I am probably one of the very few people on CR4 that find the whole subject interesting!!

In the TV program, there is a link to an online test, that tests if a) you recognise people who are/were true Psychos and b) tests you to see how strong your tendencies in that direction are.....

My wife came out at about 50%, I was 10%....mine is in the realms of normality....her's not!!

My wife's excuse is that she may not have understood the language well enough......I don't agree!!!

I tend to have a few problems with those personality tests, since I pull out a few different 'public personas' as the need arises. Those tests tend to be so long, boring, and repetitive that it's hard to keep track of which 'me' is taking the test. I may start with the 'real me,' but as the test drags on, the 'makes dead baby jokes' me might sneak in and take control, then later the 'devil's advocate' me night take the drivrs seat, answering the questions in a 'what would be the answer most likely to break the whole system' style.

I think you've seen me enough here to know that I don't always answer with my honest emotions all the time. Sometimes I give heartfelt advice, sometimes I take up and defend a position I'm against, just so that both sides of a debate can be brought to light, sometimes I post like I'm auditioning for the Borcht Belt, and sometimes I just pull out an obscure reference from my experience with pop culture as if it were a universally accepted meme.

And sometimes, I worry that I may actually *BE* a psycopath who's just pretending to be a normal, if slightly goofy person. Or that all my humor is an unheeded cry for help, like the tears of a clown.

You made me do to a dictionary for that one. Well, played, Sir, it's not often that that happens these days.

There is only one think to say I liked the soft and downloaded it for future use.

As for the presence frequency I would say that unfortunately some have no better to do than to spend all their time in front of a screen.

For me it is important to participate when, based on own experience, I can give a helping hand to some body, to share what I know not only to look at google and give an address.

And since I do not know all I limit my participation to subjects I know well.

It is a mentality difference. In fact I am very impressed by the large spectrum of experience some claim to have in every and all directions.

I am proud to be a member of such an usual team. This is the reason I did not have to make any comment.
