	we have alignment problem in our RTG wheel any suggestion how to check wheel alignment and adjustment

	Get specs for vehicle from an auto repair manual or web site. Use tape measure, string, level to check. Or feel the tires for wear pattern. -- JHF __________________ If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't

	What is it that leads to the concept of an alignment problem with the RTG wheel? Why is the RTG wheel's original equipment manufacturer's operation and maintenance manual not to hand? Why is there no standard maintenance instruction available at the facility to enable a periodic check and adjustment to be made to the RTG wheel by in-house maintenance personnel? What was the outcome of the telephone call to the RTG wheel manufacturer? 	thanks these all Questions Are really sensible and appreciate able -we have RTG jerking problem leading to Motor overheating -Tire worn out problem -Maintenance manuals not covering alignment -periodic maintenance team just beating about the bush

	Yes you should have an "as built" set of specs for this equipment somewhere, showing wearing parts maintenance and repair parts as well as source information...This will show tolerances and specs for all wheel parts.... 	It's typical for companies that operate this type of equipment to toss out all pertinent operation and maintenance manuals right after the equipment is commissioned and operating. Then 2 years down the road, everyone is scratching their heads and asking, "where did we put the ~~damn~~ manuals" __________________ Confucius once said, “ Ability will never catch up with the demand for it".

	If RTG means what I think it means then laser alignment is the best option. For dual drive systems then speed control by infra-red paralleling is normal. If the tires are worn then forget any of the above. __________________ The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.
