Please describe "CFD" in detail to comment.

What work are you doing? are you in manufacturing/sales/engineering selection.

What do you need in a software that you are asking?

Isn't your own company having pump selection software? If so what are you asking for?

If you believe you will become involved in the analysis of flow into, through, and out of pumps, then yes, CFD software would be of use. Ordinarily, engineers will learn to use CFD software when they perceive the need. You may want to check around your company to see who is using CFD programs, and what types.

I can see where CFD software would be useful for you. We recently purchased EFD software from Flomerics. So far so good. The integration with our CAD tool is a nice feature.

Hope this is helpful.
