No Back Pressure of Purifier Model Type Osc 5-02-066

07/02/2016 9:24 AM

we have a problem on our purifier of Auxiliary engine for lube oil. During Feed valve open there is No pressure registering ang we have noticed that there is no flow of clean oil to the discharge pipe of our purifier. Although the feed pressure or the dirty oil oil inlet is okay and has flow, the feed pump pressure is okay still there is no dicharge of clean oil to the discharge pipe. we have already replaced all gasket of the bowl. we also observed that during feed valve open the oil that is being separated flows directly to the sludge discharge. and also during sludging during ejection of the bowl it seems to be that the annular piston or the sliding piston is not moving but there is a flow of water and the pressure is okay. what should we do or check for possible cause and how can we resolve this problem. Thank you

Asking here means you have no manual, no one willing to read the manual if you have one, no one competent to read and perform troubleshooting activities and no one willing to call the technical service line of the manufacturer.

In other words, you are doomed to fail.

Sounds like you are about to cause a major equipment failure because you don't want to spend any money.

Compare the replacement cost of the equipment with the repair cost and get on the phone to the manufacturer of their field service people.

If the original equipment manufacturer's telephone number is in the <...manual...>, then the first step, always, is to pick up the phone and talk to them.

CR4 does not offer training facilities in the use of the telephone, BTW.

...or, if not Westfalia, maybe your centrifuge could be an Alfa-Laval.

The spaces between cones in the stack might be plugged with sludge.

Start by using the correct tool for the job:

Use this tool to talk to the original equipment supplier. Explain the problem to that supplier and, if necessary, arrange for a Service Technician to attend site and clear the fault in the equipment. Learn from that individual's guidance and record the lesson so that a repeat visit is not called for. Obtain a fresh copy of the manual for the equipment using the same tool.

Job done.
