Rotating Rectifier of the Generator

Hi Dear Respected Members

Please kindly Guide me where can i find the details of the Rotating Rectifier for the Generator,We have Diesel Generator supplied by US company the Equipment is old but still working in good condition. We have to do maintenace for this machine. where i can find the atleast basics of the rotating rectifier

You'll need to give us the name plate details; i.e. manufacturer, rating, all things shown on the name plate (metal data tag). The rectifier itself is a simple collection of diodes to form a bridge rectifier. You can likely get the part numbers of the diodes off each diode if one is defective and buy it direct from an electronics supplier. What is you real issue? (anything wrong or defective?)

Do you mean the exciter rather than rotating rectifier?
