the embattled tech giant is trying to spark sales of its more expensive lines while the model 3 remains a pipe dream

74K gets you a 4 wheel drive and a smallish 60 kwh battery

No, keep it coming Fredski!

I too, am interested in how Tesla is doing. No other EV has been successful in the US.

So, just how is Elon Musk going to pull it off? From an engineering perspective, political, social, technological....I sure would like to know.

$59k+ seems like a lot of cash to blow....just for the privilege of plugging a cord into a car, which I can only enjoy for a relatively few miles a day.
