Email Notification

10/17/2016 6:00 PM

I seem to have have stopped getting email notification of new comments on threads I've posted to. Noticed that when posting for the first time, there is a check box with this message.

□ email me as new comments are added

From memory, I thought this was always there, whether first or subsequent post, but now when it's not first post the message is not there. Maybe that's always been the case and I'm remembering it wrong, but either way I'm not getting emails, though there have been new comments. I've checked "Limit Subscribed Discussion Alerts" in my profile, in case I had inadvertently changed it, but made no difference.

Anybody had something similar?

I checked your profile and it looks like you are set up ok to receive one alert per discussion. This means you'll receive an email for the first new comment to a thread, but not subsequent comments unless you mark all the new comments as read in the thread.

Are you marking all new comments as read after you review them? If not, that may be what's preventing you from receiving further notifications.
