What Happened to the Daily E-mails???

Go to your home page and change the settings in, CR4 Daily Digest Subscription.

If that doesn't work???????????

I went to my profile and found that my daily subscriptions had been turned off don't know how that happened. I haven't been there since I signed up for CR4 or Engineering 360.

They probably had a software update....

up·date noun /ˈəpˌdāt/ - That which makes one pine for the previous update.

It happened to many, I forget why exactly....simply change your setup as someone has already mentioned....

It seems that this issue is resolved. But if anyone is still having trouble, you can try the following.

• CR4 Profile
• Check the email address in your CR4 profile and make sure it's your current email address.
• Review the settings in your CR4 profile and make sure you are set to subscribe to the Daily Digest.
• Try changing your email address in your CR4 profile to an email address at a different domain.
• Email Provider
• Check your spam/promotions/bulk/junk mail folders.
• Review your email filters and be sure that nothing is set up for CR4.

If that still doesn't work, please contact us.

CR4 Moderating

My email addy is current and I don't receive them either. Screenshot of my settings (with digest setting circled):

I am notified of new comments and when user-group memberships change, but in my entire time here I have never once received the daily digest.

Do they go into your spam folder?

Yes, they did.

Finally got to the profile section and checked I am set to receive the daily E-mails. Also check my spam folder and did not find it there either as well as trying to reset my address. It did not like the fact I changed from to the same just to verify that it was installed correctly. So at this point I am at a loss for words and guess that I will have to miss a large part of my daily enjoyment in the off time. Hope the problem will eventually get fixed. Also what happened to the spellcheck? Not that I use it a lot I just like to check and make sure senility hasn't arrived without me seeing it coming.

As far as I am aware, spellcheck on many websites has been "turned off".

You need to activate it in your Browser...

I gathered that Andy it just makes it easier for a dyslexic person to keep from offending others with bad spelling when it just isn't necessary. I keep a dictionary near by just to confirm to myself when the words just don't look right. The older I get the worse it seems to get. Hopefully the daily E-mails will start working again soon as I have just resigned to the fact I just won't get them back. Oh well off to work I must go.

I use Chrome and it has a good spell checker, if thats any help.

Certainly quicker than looking up words in a dictionary. It even flags the bad words with a red line under the ones in question....

I'm running on Internet Explorer not sure how to turn on spellcheck. I will check with my wife and see if it is something she hide's when she uses my computer. As she has won several adult spelling bee's so often that it is to the point they have made her the moderator for several events just so others can win. She thinks it's funny that I am so diligent to get it right that she thinks its funny to hide my saving grace called Spell Check. I guess I will have to ask pretty please return my spell check. That will surely be fun.

I would not use IE even if you paid me. I had to use it for MS downloads years ago I remember. Chrome is "fitter" in many ways.

But with any browser that I have used, with spellcheck, it does not slow you down, so why turn it off? All it does is mark the bad word, and if you right click, it offers the correct spelling.

But if you simply ignore the marked words, they stay as they are.

Maybe some other browsers do their own thing, which I would not want, or halt you in full flow to ask how you want a word spelled (guessing!).....

I used Firefox for many years, but it got so "buggy" on Linux, I started using Chrome. And even after I went back to Windows (10) after 3 years on Ubuntu, even Firefox is not really good enough, though its installed for "just in case!"

I use to use Firefox for a long time and all of a sudden it just stopped working and won't open. Will have to have my friend that takes care of all my computers look and see what happened. He did a cursory look at it and did not find a reason for it a while ago, but did not have the time to uninstall it and reload it. I just tried to run a virus check and found out that my malware bites is the free one and is not active all the time so now I have to buy a new copy that will monitor all the time. As well as the Microsoft service packs are not updating on my Windows 7 load. Wife uses 10 at work and does not like it, but it is what the company provides for them. They have no choice, the girls and her all say it really slows them down to the point that it adds about an hour to their day. Just to get from one place to another to do what they do it was not built for the corporate world the way they use it. They have all done training on it and can't make it work any faster for them, their instructor was amazed to find that their complaints were true. As of their last training session their IT people are looking into possibly a different type of software other then Microsoft 10.

Here it is 10/16/2017 and I still can't get my e-mails from the site oh well I guess I will just have to learn to live without it. I really enjoyed what I considered to be a daily refresher course in life, oh well I guess I will just have to go on with life.
