RGF Environmental Inc. / IHACI 37th Convention, Booth #510.

11/18/2016 10:08 PM

I went to the trade show this past Wednesday, 11/16/2016 . There were several vendors that had interesting products on display, this was one of them. I was able to pick up a brochure of their products. One of the devices I thought was interesting, but when I read the brochure, it must be written in Greek, because it's a little hard to understand how it works, so I thought someone here may be able to decipher it and tell me if the product really works.

Here is the product description: The Guardian Air Desktop is the latest in air treatment technology. The Guardian Air Desktop utilizes high intensity broad spectrum light waves directed on a sintered catalytic radiant grid which creates an advanced radiant catalytic air ionization that is radiated through a room in complete silence. Item # DT - 500 - GA. Coverage 500 sq ft. 120v / 11 watts, 6"W x 3"d x 12" h, 2lbs. Cost- unknown.

Their other products use terms such as:

Charged advanced oxidation plasma. HVAC - PHI Cells. Super oxide ions. Hydro - Peroxides.

They are located in Riviera Beach, To.

You wouldn't want a real ozone generator, it's poisonous

I appear to be confused, your signage says NO Bull sheite!

I would recommend any of these so-called ionization things, for anyone with hair. It might stand on end, and then where would we be?

Thank you for your quick responses.

I do have another question, there were several companies displaying products that I am not familiar with. I trust engineers on this forum to provide honest and fair evaluations.

Is there a process where I can post names of companies and the products I saw at the show, so learned engineers here can provide evaluations of said products and companies ?

It's sort of like the LED therapy items you see in catalogs that regrow hair, reduce pain, or whatever, modern day snake oil.

This product will clean a finite amount of money from the buyer's bank account, nothing more.

I'd be totally skeptical of any claims that this contraption can generate "high intensity broad spectrum light waves" while using 11 watts at 120V. That's 09 amps.

Buy this lighted salt lamp instead. Put that 11W to good use as a conversation piece.

Conch shell? Conch shell?????? We don't need no stinking conch shell!

Salt Lamps Cleanse & Deodorize the Air

Reduce Allergy & Asthma Symptoms

Eases Coughing

Increase Energy Levels

Neutralize Electromagnetic Radiation

Better Sleep

Improve Mood & Concentration

Treat Seasonal Affective Disorder

Reduce Static Electricity in the Air

Environmentally-Friendly Light Source

Your dumb old conch shell just sits there.

Anything that can Treat "Seasonal Affective Disorders" is a winner in my book.

You forgot the leading zero and decimal point in 0.09 amps.

I agree with the others - its one of many devices for liberating $ from gullible wallets.

11 Watts doesn't create high intensity anything (except perhaps sound) to fill a 500 sq. ft. room.

How can we decipher it if we can't read it?

I found a Riviera Beach in Florida. I have no idea where "To" is located...

Sounds like RGF stands for "Really Good Fake".

Sorry about the, " To ". I noticed the spell check function display of To, after I posted question. Apparently Android lollipop doesn't know that Riviera is a city in the state of Florida, or Fl.

The correct address is : 1101 West 13th Street ( Port of Palm Beach Enterprise Zone ) Riviera Beach Florida 33404

The phone number & contact information is as printed on the lower section of the last page on the fold out 4 page sales, product informational brochure.

I am going to post several more questions. These will be about companies I saw at the trade show.

These questions will refer to several points:

1.Have you or your organization used or purchased or used products distributed or manufactured by a particular company.

2. How would you as an engineer or technician rate said product based on quality, customer service, reliability, ease of operation, value comparison to other manufacturers offerings.

3. Would you or your organization continue to purchase or provide sales referrals.

I felt the same way when I looked at some "therapy" lights. They seemed like a ripoff. I did a little research built my own. Full spectrum lamps in a four foot four tube fixture and hung them above the bathroom mirror. I get my "therapy" every time I brush my teeth. In other words when I kick on the Klieg lamp: I. Wake. Up.

Conversation pieces: I picked upa box of Lava Lites at an estate sale. I have thirteen of them placed along the top of the TV and stereo speakers. I call it my 500 watt entertainment system that doesn't make a sound. Puts of a fair amount of heat which is a bonus and helps brighten up the grey Winter days.
