11/22/2016 11:39 AM

We do have gas flow meter size 1 ". promass F and transmitter 83 F. upon starting it was not at all reading . poping up empty pipe even though the pressure control valve is fully open from the Seperator . Off the empty pipesetting and reading popped up .But the mass flow is too high than the expected .After 5-6 hours it got stucked arround 4700 lb/d were URV is 4500 . that is at full range . What will be a solution.

Phone Redfred the equipment supplier, and ask, of course, particularly as there are several people available to do it [<...we...>]. The supplier's telephone number is in the user manual that came with it, and it's far quicker than hanging about on CR4 just in case the right answer comes up. Time is money!

That model is an E&H and they have very good field service from their distributors. They can access the meter through a software program and RS485 connections. They can do nearly anything you could ever want them to do to the meter. Just had them here about 1 month ago for one that was locked up so I could not enter the programming section. Three minutes and we were in.

Get a meter that fits the application.

If you have more flow than the measured range of the meter allows that is!

I've seen Coriolis meters that read full scale when stuffed full and no flow for liquid applications, no similar experience with gas, on E&H
