Get the information aboout gas pipeline

India should have applicable laws on Gas, Oil pipelines. Start there.

As per the first post, different countries have different standards for the construction of pipelines carrying gas, oil, and hazardous liquids. In the U.S., the American Petroleum Institute's RP's (Recommended Practices) are referenced as the applicable Code in most all instances. Visit http://www.api.org/ for documents such as API 1104 (Welding of Pipelines and Related Facilities). My various employers have laid pipe in many overseas locations (as well as the Gulf of Mexico), and I have encountered references to the API Standards even in some of those distant locales.

and which type of valves are used at different location on pipe

so from which site i can get all this knowledge of gas pipe line

Again you will need to know the regulations that you are required to build to in order to determine valve requirements. Gas composition might help as well.
