The grid?

I had a look at www.engcom.net and noticed this thing called a grid. Does anyone know what they are talking about?

Apparently there was a sneak peak on the weekend, did anyone see it?

Do you mean the power transmission and distribution system (also called the "grid"). No, the site says it is "an experiment in how a group of engineers can collaborate in a seemingly unorganised fashion".

Well that's helpful. Perhaps they are talking about CR4.

You're probably refering to this article, which was linked from here under the heading of Electric Auto Power. The article is about the new electric car from Tesla Motors, and so the grid is most likely the road network, which is laid out like a grid.
