Here is what I found on Google for SEM cheese mold.

Not quite as straight however. I prefer the blue moldy cheese.

I used to work at a company which built SEMs. One day I brought in a snippet from a used-but-supposedly-'clean' dishrag and scanned it. Unbelievable.

The horrors you see under a microscope!

My brother has OCD, is an absolute 'clean freak' and a royal pain-in-the-arse. His house isn't a home, it's an exhibit. White carpet everywhere.

"See that carpet there? Nice, white and clean? Just the way you like it?"

"Yeah, not like the floors in your place, you slob."

"Right. Well, they only look clean from a distance. Zoom in at, say, mag 2000 and it's a festering mat of bacteria feeding on flecks of dead skin, microscopic bits of mucus from your last sneeze, fecal matter and urine tracked in from outside and from the bathroom after your last flush. Oh, you take your shoes off in the entryway, but then track-in on your socks what your shoes left behind on the floor. You can't see it, but it's all there, waiting for you. Now, what were you saying about 'slobs'?"

Ah man, you caved too soon. Give it 24 hours at the least. Consider that some of CR4's readers are starting their day and are just now seeing your post for the first time.

Yes, indeed they do. I'd feed it my copy of Microsoft Windoze, but I'm afraid he'd undergo gravitational collapse and turn into a black hole (which, on the bright side, can come in pretty handy in a game of marbles).

It looks like the cut end of a nano-fibre rope/rod - but then I have not been paying attention!
