Cool!

I wanted to build a Gemini-capsule mockup as a kid and spend several days in it to see what it would be like for an astronaut. As there was no way I had the skill to actually build something like that - not to mention the materials costs - a large wooden shipping crate had to suffice. I made the control panels from wooden fruit crates and the 'instruments' using toggle switches & pilot lights from dad's junkbox. Comm was a crystal radio. Fun times!

How I wish some 100 years or more, we can compete with these guys. Our taxes has gone to the filthy politicians in our place funding and spending the irrelevants. Like the never ending roads and higways. Why cant they make a 50 inches thick pavement like airport runways so that roads wont easily deteriorate.

We missed indepently doing our own instruments, though we have potentialy great minds but there are no concrete vision and directive. We always depend in the neighbors tech.

Ah, but don't fool yourself. This is a rich man's game, way beyond boats and planes. Rich like Billionaire, not Millionaire.

You didn't use the LUNA anti-gravity propulsion system? Too bad. Did you have a baggy to poo in?

Did your dad secretly ship you to the USA from Aussie land?

What is the deal with gutmonarch saying these guys are from Pluto?

BTW, that emergency escape rocket worked well, but the parachute deployment was late enough, the splash-down was a bit hard for the human noggin to take.

Be more specific next time, BTW Pluto is not a planet any more, having been demoted by the federation.

The Rebel Alliance wants to make it planet again - along with a slew of other Solar System objects.

Just like those pesky rebels forcing us to remember even more flotsam and jetsam.

Eight planets I can almost remember, even if I can't see them or tell you where they are right now. Much more than that, and I go into memory overheat.

Remember a whole entire slew, who are we kidding here?

At least these guys have their heads screwed on straight regarding the risks, especially for those involved who won't be flying. I worked on several different aspects of the shuttle program and was worried sick about things I may have done wrong every time there was an accident.

On the other hand I had no problems flying research helicopter missions for NASA because if anything went wrong I probably wouldn't know anything for more than a few seconds.

And it's also much like going to war. The warrior doesn't have time to worry. His/her loved ones, however, are sometimes paralyzed with worry.

Go for it. The world needs more space entrepreneurs.
