Er, try making it non-zero?

Well, the problem cannot be seen from here, nor can it be determined from such meagre information. The original posting is nonsensical:

  • If it is non-zero, then why is there an error message that says it is (rhetorical question - NNTR)?

By overcoming the nonsense in the first instance.

Good luck with that.

The easy way to do this is to go to the web and search for the ACSR conductor tables published by the major suppliers. You will also need the physical configuration of the conductors, height above ground, distance(s) between conductors and shield wires, whether they're transposed, length, doubled, etc.

See page 24 of this pdf:-

https://etap.com/docs/default-source/what's-new/etap-16-getting-started.pdf

Does the error appear in this format, with an error number like this example 706-01?

Or does the error display in some other way?

At least the rated voltage and number of parallel circuits on the same tower is required in order to design a possible overhead line.
