12" & 18" Tilting Disc Check Valve

08/29/2007 9:33 AM

I am looking for competitive replacements to replace the existing 12" & 18" check valves (tilting disc type) which were made from Dominion Engineer Works Inc. in our river water pump station.

In the UK one would contact a couple of valves distributors with details of the existing valve and its application.

Another possibility, rather than change the whole valve, is to replace the frangible and elastomeric parts only, which may extend the life of the valve at a fraction of the cost.

Have your engineer look into Val-matic valves to see if they are suitable.

replacements for tilting disc check valves are readily available just about anywhere.

I deal specifically with swinging disc check valves (no flow restriction in the flow stream) which replace a lot of tilting disc valves. E-mail me at cbrown@weiramericas.com and let me know your location and particulars of the application (flow, pressure, temperature, medium) and details of the operation.
