There is some concern that nanoparticles, like nano tubes could pose the same hazard as asbestos - little needle-like structures that are small enough and strong enough to pierce the nucleus of a cell and clip DNA.

I have been going through a very strange an unusual situation,a stalking situation. There is no way I can give all the details,I could write a book. But what I have recently discovered is that a RF system was installed in my home about a year ago and He was using crystals Nano, etc to enhance the signal, I know very strange but this person has access to this type of equiptment. I am concerned because this has gone on for so long and I have been recieving strong and constant RF for almost a year.

From what "I" know, nano-technology science is still very, very much in it's infancy. nano-technology cannot be used to amplify signals such that you, personally could receive them.
Please, take my advice and go see a licensed psychiatrist of your choice. If you are having perceptual problems, there is NOTHING to be ashamed of. At least before you consider that this stalker is sending you radio waves, please check this out with a mental health care professional. If you are healthy, then there's a situation you can take up with the police. However, if you are having perceptual problems, they can be treated affectively.
Please check this out. If you're clear, then you can take this further to the police and media.

Based on the extremely vague information given, it is impossible to provide any sort of helpful response. However, I am interested in hearing any further developments on the topic.
Do you have any information on the RF frequency and field strength or transmitted power you're dealing with? The answers can be very different as those parameters vary.
This is not my field, but I worked one time with a very competent FCC licensed electronics guy, who had among his tools a sophisticated RF analyzer which could display the field strength for the frequencies being observed, and could also look at the frequency spectrum. I suspect the term may be an RF spectrum analyzer. He used it to troubleshoot and fix communications problems in a water distribution system's SCADA system.
For decades, crystals have been used to set the frequency of oscillators, so I suspect that your question can have basis. The whole field of nano-particles and their effects on biological processes is in its infancy, and we are seeing introduction of the materials at rates much faster than the testing and verification of safety or health effects (or non-effects).

Nanotechnology is really quite safe if used correctly by authorized people. Who is this bloke installind weird stuff in your house?
Ok anyway, the point is, any gadget with nanoparticles may not nessasarily be emitting them. So dont worry about the asbestos story. As it is, in nanoscience, if anything is made in that scale, all nanoparticles are too presious to be allowed to disperse int o the air.
The other thing is the radio frequency. It is not truly harmful but, certain frequencies do irritate the system. Usually DNA is affected by microwaves or UV etc. Radiofrequency in the regular range does not really affect the body. You must tell me more about the frequency of these waves if u can find out.
DNA mutates at high frequencies and can cause cancer. But i really do not think that your case is that serious.
Maybe if u could tell me more....
