I would like to know if dissolved carbon in lub oil can be mechnically or chemically seperated? Can it be filtered or carbon converted to something getting precipitated?
Pure carbon would not be dissolved in lube oil or any other solvent. It would be present as small particulate matter and could be removed by a good filter.
Carbon particulates do not dissolve in oils, but remain suspended due to their small size. Metallic particles are also can form sludges and must be removed. There are a number of companies on the Internet that supply equipment for filtration that can help you address the problem.

Delavan (sp) Lube oil separator will remove carbon and metal particles. This uses a centrifugal force to remove particles. Also will remove moisture, water and other impurities from the oil. Heating the oil before treatment will improve the separation.
