power transformers

while conducting pre gommissioning tests on power

transformers what should be the acceptance value

of magnetising current for a 33/11kv,16 mva pr.tr

with Dy11 configuration.

Demand Manufacturer's test report--on basis of which you accepted the Pr.Tx.

You will have to accept the same as the basis NOW.

The magnetising current can go as high as 12 times the rated primary current of the transformer for few cycles.
