Grouting specification,procedure & precautions for Static & Rotary equipments.

I want to know regarding non shrink/epoxy grouting specification, procedure & precautions for Static & Rotary equipments pockets & base both in details.

That depends a lot on the equipment and application. Usually the equipment manufacturer will supply recommendations for foundation support which includes grouting, vibration isolators, etc. The manufacturers of non-shrink grouts also have a lot of useful information. I would check with these sources, and develop a spec on that basis.

JDknut is right, every peice of equipment I have put in was different. One wanted a 6' deep block of concrete, one wanted just a little grout stuffed around the mounting bolts.

Dear Guest,

Grouting heavy machinery like recip's, pumps and generators with epoxygrout happens to be my daily responsibility.
Although many things can go wrong with the groutlayer, anchorage of the equipment or skid is of major importance.
For this purpose I created an anchorbolt calculation sheet (.xls) which I am happy to mail to you if you're still interested.
