Good question. Why engineers can not define what they want?

I think he has asked for Safty switch and not safety switch. I think that is some kind of icecreame manufacturing machine or it it different thing he is looking for.

I think he is asking about Safety Switches. Which are more commonly known as disconnect switchesbut referred to as safety switches in the manufacuters catalogs. They are used to electricaly isolate, or disconnect, equipment from supply side so that a person can work safely on the equipment.

If you go to either Eaton Electrical or Square D's web site and search on "safety switch" they will list all the product details on General Duty and Heavy Duty safety switches.

... Unless the original poster was not referring to anything in North America, in which case a "safety switch" is usually something related to machine guarding. If that's the case, it could be one of hundreds or maybe even thousands of permutations.

Once again, a completely pointless exercise in futility created by someone who undoubtedly thinks that details require far too much effort to provide. Sometimes I don't know why I bother.

Stet switches have and do appear on drawings from time to time.

If it is Switch switching to safety then it will have many meanings. in industries it may be more to have a switch to start a safe sequence operation. Safety curtain switches are rather simple and direct use example. If Crane is loaded and you turn off the power then it will let the load fall on your head hence switching OFF is not always safe switching.

I think one should know exactly what one is talking about. Even software may switch to safe mode and that is not a physical hardware. You may switch ideas, knowledge base and logic in PLC.

What he is referring to is a "safety relay". Antone who has had to do machine guarding in the oast five years will be familiar with these. They have triple redundant logic on all switching to meet category 4 safety ratings. Schmersal supplies the best in this area.

"could you provide the specification of safty switch? and what standard to follow that? up to what ratings can possible? and what are features can possible?"

-----

Answers commensurate with question:

1. It has to be blue. Red safty switches are distracting to maintenance personnel and can cause terrible accidents.

2. Three standards follow that, and they must be in looseleaf form. Order forms can be found in back issues of Viz Magazine and Better Homes and Gardens.

3. Two out of a possible ten?

4. It must have a gozinta and a gozouta, and the two must be clearly distinguishable so that the safty cannot be installed backward or upside-down. These must be black with blue stripes. Other color combos are possible, but they encourage theft; avoid them. You must provide the gift box yourself.
