	thanks for your answer I'm looking for field experience is it with the lifetime of SPM more or less ? I'm trying to decide before it fails

	When the umbilical cord is ordered from a manufacturer there are certain specifications required that are in the datasheet, certain components of the cord may have different design life specification. Now the design life might be 100 years, but the cord is probably only guaranteed for 12 mos.
