Can't Reply To Forum Post

04/24/2018 3:35 PM

When I tried to reply to a recent post, when I attempted to preview my reply I got the error message "Title Field Required" and could not proceed from that point

I copied the Title Field and pasted it and that seemed to work.

It hasn't happened lately.

I do the same thing as Lyn and it usually works. Sometimes I delete the Re: when I re-paste and then it takes.

Something along that line happened to me a couple of months ago, but I thought they had corrected whatever problem occurred. I've had no problems recently. If it happens again, try a different browser. I've gone back and forth, mostly between FireFox and Safari. Right now, Safari is working perfectly.

I have gotten in the habit of doing a "select all" and "copy" the contents of my edit field before leaving that page for any reason, so in case there is a problem, I can go back to the original thread and start a new reply.

My most common problem is pressing the 'close' button when I intended to press the 'back' button... I frequently go back to review something in the original post.

I thought that they'd removed the timers from these reply windows. Today, I had written half of this reply, when it came to be dinner time. I came back after dinner, and it seemed to be working normally, but when I pressed the "Preview" button, I got a message saying the site was not safe...

Since I had done the select all and copy, I just went back to the thread and started a new reply (this one).
