First time for "everyting". Don't want to do it again, never no how. 3 mos, no water. 6 mos, no power. (learned more about Briggs & Stratton generators and care and feeding of refrigerators while on generators than I ever wanted to know.) Still no cable, got an AT&T wireless router today. The house is being repainted as I write, just in time for the new season.
No major injuries, fell twisted left pinky into a knot. USS Comfort to the rescue as well as Central Medical Hosp. A Dr Gaither of AZ Disaster Medical did the initial work on it. @Solar Eagle has undoubtedly welcomed many refugees.
In spite of what you may have heard Travis AFB sent a number of C5's to Roosevelt Roads, then Antonov followed with an even larger plane. These carried 5 utility pole drilling trucks with a trailer. Ft Buchanan is the supply point for Central PR, it is chock full of trailers with stuff. I understand Ponce (south shore) and Ramey (west side) had similar deliveries.
Medical Assistance teams from WI, AZ, FL, MI, NY, helped immensely. We received canned goods from AK and CA. Thank you one and all.
Utility companies from FL, VA, WVA, ConEd and especially DTE (Detroit) who got us back up. The DTE guys said they had seen wiring jobs that were quite creative to say the least. Mastec has been doing a great job of stringing communications cables.
Again I thank all of you
