Reagents and Laboratory chemicals

The longest list of chemicals, besides the CAS library, would be the Sigma Aldrich catalog. The company is now known as Millipore Aldrich and advertises that they handle 200,000+ chemicals. That is probably a conservative estimation.

They also have a 20+ page catalog of their catalogs.

Go to their site, see what they have, use copy & paste with a spread sheet or data base and you can get your list of chemicals.

Have you ever heard of 1-(4-Hydroxy-3-iodophenyl)ethanone, 2-Iodo-4-acetylphenol, 3-Iodo-4-hydroxyacetophenone, 4-Acetyl-2-iodophenol ?

It is the same as 4′-Hydroxy-3′-iodoacetophenone With the CAS no. 62615-24-1

They have been at it for a long time so be prepared for a long list(s).

Second, even they have the same business lines, they may have different product lines. For example, CABOT, BASF and Xinghua Pigments Group, they are all producing pigments and solvent dyes, but they will have different products.
