Magtube Question

05/20/2018 4:47 AM

I just joined to get some expert advice please.

Magtube would be similar to Hyperloop. Swissmetro and ET3 but instead of vacuum pumps the whole length it would have a 300kw jet compressor evacuating the one tonne of air that enters the 200 kilometre 6m diameter tunnel with every train as it is pushed toward it by the train.

Am I nuts or has nobody thought of eliminating the pressure build up this way.

Now, why would we tell you that? This is probably a useless request, too. If I wrote the code that made this bot trap, the text would be randomized making the answer different for each entry.

After much thought I now believe that the jet compressor would not be needed because the second half of the tunnel would be twice the pressure of the first and so on until near the next station it becomes above atmospheric pressure and can exhaust the 4 tonne of air that enters with each train.

Obviously initially the train would not be able to go 1,000 km/h so a number of trips would be needed until the pressure is reduced sufficiently for it to do so.

Hyperloop = hyper waste of resources in pursuit of fantasy.

None of the original specs will ever be realized.

It's tantamount to a modern version of the jetsons simple flying car.. which is also a completely bogus dream of efficient travel for everyone.

Beam me up scotty.. coming soon to an investment portfolio near you.

Just as I thought, they randomize the question to prevent a bot from entering using a brute strength approach.

That is like asking what the name of a male domesticated bull is, or what the name of a female wild mare is.
