Can you help me find more information about heat pipes, and the conditions that effect them..and some websites talk about this subject?

Heat Pipes are basically self contained passive heat recovery device which can transfer 1000 times more thermal energy than any known metal.

It is actually a hollow pipe filled under vacuum with any vaporized liquid.

It has a vapor/evaporation section and condenser section. When heat is added to the evaporator section the fluid inside boils and vaporizes absorbing latent heat.This is then released at the condenser section which returns by gravity to the evaporator section to begin cycle again.
