Sprint/Nextel PCS, anyone else having Customer Relations and Service Problems?
Within the space of 1 month, the following has happened:
1) Going to Digital Roam in areas with previous strong signal.
2) A plethora of dropped phone calls.
3) Voice and text messages not coming through for a day or 2, if not several hours.
4) Account limit of $200.00 has now put on account; now mind you I have been a customer of Sprint since their entry into Pgh, PA area's inception of service date and all payments are electronically debited. No explanation for this during call to CSR.
5) Payment is due on 20th of month and this month they shut of service with no notification on the 17th. It was at this time that I found about account limit.
6) CSR told me that Sprint now uses a "floating" payment due date. HUH?
7) Paid immediately by phone and even though a minimum of 4 hours was needed to restore service, phone was on in 15 minutes.
8) Received a text message last night that account was nearing spending limit. HUH!
9) Also, I received a letter from Sprint stating Bank would not process the payment after the fact. Bank said this is happening a lot with Sprint now and they never requested payment even if the new "floating" date was earlier than previous with no reason to decline on their part.
10) Calling customer service ends up in no answer or no understanding of situation when I do connect with a warm body.
11) Trying to use the Online Service does not work either. I go through process and reach a window telling me an access code will be texted to my phone. Text messages never come through for that, but all of the other kinds from Sprint come through.
12) We all have heard about Sprint's new take on Quality Service and Customer Relations (Dropping Customers)
13) Has anyone read the financial news talking about Sprint's foray into things beyond Cellular, which they have deemed more profitable?
14) For the record, problems starting occurring after Sprint and Nextel became one, and I suspect that the Nextel side is much more profitable and I wouldn't doubt the Cellular side is spun off or really downsized.
So, any takes on this or anyone else having problems?
