Problem With Star Type Coupling In CNC Machine Spindle

Dear friends,

I am facing a problem with star type coupling (plastic cushion get deformed and create play in spindle orientation).This coupling is used in our CNC machine in between spindle motor and spindle.I have cross checked it's alignment with laser alignment.it is in perfect condition,No abnormal vibration.I am thinking to use some Alternative type.If you have any suggestion pl help me.I need a coupling which will give very accurate position to spindle orientation for tool change operation.If it possible pl give website address to search different type of coupling availability.

is there possibly a bad bearing or bushing in the spindle?

Run the motor without a load and check the motor amps to see if its over amping due to load.

I had checked that condition.But Amps is shows normal.Also as per our study,spindle load is more.Now we are in discussion to change the star coupling in other type.pl give me some coupling variety web link for analysis.thanks
