HP1020 Printer

I couldn't setup this printer in Windows xp, although it work in the same computer with windows98. why?

you just complietly remove exisiting prenter file i.e uninstall old one reload new driver cd thats it

You will probably need to download the XP driver from the HP site, and then install that driver.

I think you will need to download the latest driver from the HP web site. The site comes with the original disk. If you don't have the original disk just go to the HP site and follow the instructions you may need the serial number of the printer

I have the same local printer & it works perfectly with Win XP SP2. If you load the latest HP driver it should be ok.

Check with HP for the appropriate driver for Windows XP. I just recently had to go through a similar exercise with an old Canon Laser printer for Vista.
