Are you not receiving the Daily Digest? Is that the issue? I've confirmed from the Admin settings that you are subscribed. I would recommend checking your email settings and folders as well.

Other possible solutions:

• Check the email address in your CR4 profile and make sure it's your current email address.
• Try changing your email address in your CR4 profile to an email address at a different domain.

I suggested on the 'Not for Deniers' thread that the gov might consider to give free patents to inventors of anti CO2 / AGW solution inventions.

My post got deleted and I am now barred from that thread!???

That thread was moved to the break room because of its political content...the "CR4 fans" user group or 'Break room' as it's called, is a user group thread and requires that you join the group to participate...

I guess they need to advise members of that, rather than have them assume that they have been banned -

If you look at the top left of the page that says "HOME - CR4 - CR4 Fans - Break Room" , that tells you the location...If you don't see a thread just click on "_{See all forum threads}" next to the "Latest Forum Threads" column, and when you click on the thread, it gives the location....

Since we have gone completely of tack (for once, I didn't do it ! ), it would be great if there was a shortcut to breakroom. I've not visited in ages because that little nooky hole is hidden a bit too well. I guess I could create a desktop link to that page rather than/as well as to CR4 homepage. D'oh, I love it when I answer my own questions. Thinking aloud has merit so I'll still post this.

Thanks, but I'm now more confused. Break and Fans pages were set up fairly close to each other, so the numbering doesn't seem chronological. Never to mind, I'll have a brain-burp sometime and figure it. Mrs K is watching Strictly Come Dancing, hence my rambling mind.

Sorry to hear that, dhayanandan. I'm out of ideas apart from time delay when changes are made to notification settings. Last time I did such there was a notice saying it would take a (I think) week for changes to take effect.

If you use gmail, they made some changes recently. Whatever service you use, check that CR4/Globalspec stuff is not inadvertanly being marked as spam.

If the past is any guide, this is a self-inflicted problem. Every several months we get a similar thread.

I don't know why anyone would consider that OT; on the contrary, it is perhaps the most germane comment here.
