Bernard Controls Intelli+ Actuators

11/19/2018 1:11 AM

Dear Fellow Instrument Engineers,

I have the following Query:

I tried to set up the an SQX 18 type valve and faced below mentioned issues:

· I entered the “set up” and then entered to “Position Settings”. I chose “Closing Mode” as “on(position)” and When I tried to set the open and close position of the valve, I successfully set close position but whenever I tried to set open position it says “No Valid”.

· There is a continues “Position Sensor” Alarm on display.

· I gave the following torque settings but this also could not solve the issue. The valve operates via local blue knob during position settings. But when we set it to local or remote mode, It remains close and when open commands is given it starts opening then immediately gets stuck.

Closing % (80)

Closing Tight % (80)

Opening Breakout % (80)

Opening % (80)

Your help in this matter is highly appreciated.

Do relay to the forum how the telephone call to Bernard Controls went, please, and why it was not able to solve the problem.

I guess the call suggested by PWSlack didn't happen.

Try this: Home – BERNARD CONTROLS After all they built it! Ask fir technical help or a tutorial!

This is a typical Eye Dee Ten Tee problem, usually caused by not Reading The Fine Manual.
