Hi, look at failures as well as success stories, a lot can be learned from failed/less successful projects such as the UK "hot dry rock geothermal exploitation" of the Carnmenellis Granite, Cornwall. Good luck!

First. What type of geothermal heat source are you planning on tapping into?

Second. What is the Temperature Delta you have to work with?

Third. Will this be a Third World or Industrialized Country where the plant would presumably be built?

I have designed several "Geothermal Power Plants" and they are very different from each other because of the factors listed above.

The first thing you have to learn as an engineer is to gather as much information about "What, Why, Where & When" a project is about. Without knowing what the expected results are of the project, you are doomed to failure.

Very rightly said. I believe these guys just come up with something that they hear about and "bang" without doing any exercise they just shoot the stupid question for all of us to waste time in replying.

Geophysical constraints eg how stable is your source?

Geopolitical constraints eg whose energy is it?

How do you determine if it profitable? Return on investment (ROI)? What is the "business model"?

What are the environmental issues relating to the construction and use of infrastructure?

Mode of operation - do you simply pipe hot water for domestic heating? Or can you generate electricity from the energy source? Or both?

"is it good subject for graduation project"

Yes, if it is relevent to your degree and you can demonstrate that it is.
