Tan Delta Correction Factor

Dear all,

Good Afternoon!

Based on my tittle for tan delta test results temperature correction factor is mandatory, because of already if i have get with in the limit as per recommended value.further, clarify the formula for same.

Because the degree of deterioration of shielded MV/HV cable insulation must surely vary with temperature, it is only commonsense to include the temperature in the calculation to obtain <... the limit as per recommended value...>.

You could regress the temperature correction series that Solar Eagle provided from Scribd and that would be your formula, if we are understanding the question properly...

Excel provides a good little utility for that purpose that gives you typical curve fits, other software like EZ-FIT (Perrella) offers more sophisticated analysis tools that often provide closer matches (Rsquared) that you can get in Excel

Testing system?

So,

Perform an experiment to collect your own data: Test your system at 20C (keeping same V), then continue testing by steps at different temperatures. This will allow validate your system as function of temperature and make your customer trust on you.
