so not getting it

so kelvin has prefix like mili or kilo kelvin

but it has no equation to derive its si units same as seconds

Every item in SolarEagle's posting #1 table is a "prefix". Every one of them is used like the word "dozen" when you have a dozen eggs.

Not a single item in SolarEagle's posting #1 table is a "SI unit". They do not have SI units and you will continue to be confused if you try to derive "kelvins" or "seconds" from them.

You could have a 1 dozen eggs, 2 dozen carrots or 3 dozen greeting cards. The word "dozen" modifies the number but has nothing to do with the units (eggs, carrots or greeting cards).

Your problem is easier than you think. You just need to somehow get past the confusion.

In practice, I've never seen kilo, mega, or giga, etc., used for seconds or Kelvin. You will see milli, micro, nano, etc., used with these units.

You don't see it with seconds because it becomes minutes, hours....decades.

That's surprising, as the Wikipedia pages generally cover their subjects well and also provide links to other topics from which further information might be gleaned in an aid to detailed understanding. Also, being on-line and available globally, they satisfy the currently-undefined term <..urgent...>.

The units "millikelvin" and "kilokelvin are not in general use. Fractions of a temperature degree are not terribly useful things in the process industries and once temperatures get a little into four figures most everyday things start to melt, boil, burn and even turn to plasma (these terms can be looked up in Wikipedia as well). Five figures and upwards are generally the domain of the nuclear scientist, into which category the originally posted question cannot be realistically inserted.

Don't you just hate it when you put off homework until the last second and then can't find that girl with all the answers.
