Looking for F-F aluminum standoffs

10/08/2007 4:02 AM

I am looking for aluminum standoffs (spacers)... diameter (round not hex) .375 inch dia... length 1.00 inches... female threads 1/4"-20 (at both ends). If they were threaded all the way through, that would work just great.

I can find this sort of critter in the electronics world, but not to the size I need... I could also fab the things in the size I need, but it would be a major pain in the rear.

Even once I have it, I still need to drill a 6-32 hole in the side (at .5 inches) , but that I can cope with.

How many do you want? I will quote them for you.

for standoffs F-F, 1/4"-20, 1" length, .375 OD, aluminum

Quantities:

100

200

500

1000

Are these "in stock" or would these be "special order"? Also are they tapped all the way through? or just partially? If you are fabricating them from scratch, I might have you drill and tap a 4-40 hole at .5 inches down the standoff. If they are "on the shelf, I will just do that operation here.

FYI My E-mail is Sciesis2@aol.com

Much Thanks

Bill
