Please restate your question. It is ambiguous.

Maybe something is lost in translation.

Why bother?

No seriously, if you tell us why you want to thicken bleach then we might be able to help.

My cynical view is that 'thickness' equates to strength, where pouring is about the only to tell at first glance.

Or put another way, low cost bargain bleach is simply ordinary bleach watered down, but with thickener added to create the illusion of strength.

An expensive way to buy water.

That is one possibility but since you are not the OP answering my question then the question remains open.

Another possible reason for thickening bleach is the OP wishes to bleach only part of a piece of fabric with no liquid running or spilling possible.

They might even have delusions of tricking us into explaining a way to weaponize bleach.

I think they already did that one. Chlorine gas.

Granted the opposite of thickened...

For a better function of sodium hypochlorite, as well as reducing costs, I need to have a bleach.

Thickened bleach is popular for those silly "high efficiency" (low satisfaction)front load stackable washer and dryer set ups in silly laundry closets with no utility sink.

..so you don't spill bleach on the floor in the hallway.

Just crazy I say

I guess a good gravy roux would work to thicken bleach.

Just buy it...

...or make your own...

  1. Mix together cold water and cornstarch.
  2. Stir continually over medium to high heat until mixture thickens.
  3. Once your mixture is thick and pasty, let it cool.
  4. Stir in the bleach. ...

If we could get a look at the back side of the bottle, it would show the ingredients.

(I followed the link, but too blurry when expanding image.)
