What, during manufacture?

It must depend on bubble size, which is a function of fluid properties (which are in themeselves a function of temperature and pressure) and depth of immersion of the gas injection nozzle in the fluid.

I suspect that surfactants would also be added to the formulation to assist in controling the bubble size.
