Air Compressor Replacement parts...

I want to search market of replacement parts of Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Comp Air, Sull Air, Hydrovane. I have manufacturing unit which I can utilize for this, but I don't know where to search model, drawing, specifications for all replacement parts. Any inputs/suggestion are appreciated...

The first step would be to gather a list of local service agents for these manufacturers.

The second step would be to talk to them.

Do you wish to find parts to repair units you have in house? Or do you wish to manufacture parts to fit these units, so people can buy from you for $100 instead of from Atlas Copco for $1000?

In that case the distribution network will not help you because they get large fees on the sale of these parts. In addition, they might report you to Atlas Copco for making counterfeit parts. In addition, of you make a part for an Atlas Copco compressor that fits in size, but fails in service and kills 10 employees, you may be liable for other charges, like manslaughter.

A few years back there was a helicopter crash that killed a number of people that was traced to a scrap dealer who took rejected parts from a helicopter company from whom they picked up the rejects who sold them on to a helicopter parts supplier who then cleaned them up and boxed them and sold them into the dealer network.

There are also a lot of fake mil-spec parts that try to get into the system and buyers take care they only buy from authorized sources.

So, please advise where you fit in the scheme of things?

As long as they don't represent the parts as OEM . . . .

Buyer beware, caveat emptor, if it seems to be too good, . . . .

From Purchasing 101, many years back.....Be aware of patents that may control specific components. Naughty to copy those items.
