No idea. Some 18 years back I was exclusive distributors for Noricom - the makers of "Combi-lining" to optimize power consumption on Rotary Cement grinding Mills and to increase cement production of 30% (both inclusive). Then I belive there were 32 world-wide manufacturers of Grinding Mills and Combi-lining had converted all of them all over the world. Regretfully, Pakistan Industries are a "monkey see monkey do" and nobody wants to be the first one in trend setting thus, as a result till date, there are no combi-lining in any cement plants in Pakistan ,though India has.

Suggest you look them up particularly on the lining material and technology.

Yes, SS linings have been tried in rotary kilns but it entirely depends on the product you are handling and the temperatures. Please submit operating information to: T.C.Inc. email: tcinc002@aol.com

I am glad to see the reply

Pls note the operating condition

1 Kiln is being used as calciner and not as simple dryer

2 Producing sodium tri polypjosphate powder (STPP)

3 counter flow

4 Powder enter at 140degC and at other end hot air enter at 750 to 800degC

5 Rotation speed 2.25RPM

6 Total 4 temp zones and the last zone is at 800degC and pose problem in lining

7 Need to know grade of stainless steel, thickness of lining and methodology of lining

8 Should have practicaly no welding on shell surface

I hope this information will suffice
