I have not received this message before. What does it mean other that the obvious? You are attempting to do (or view) something that is not permitted.

All that I can think of is that the discussion was removed, but I have no reason to think it would be.

What are you trying to view? It also comes up when a thread has been moved, such as to the Break Room.

It is the unmoderated section of CR4, mostly for politics, rants, off-topic discussions etc. It is opt-in.

I suspect the thread you are looking for has been moved to a restricted region of CR4. That region may be the infamous bit bucket, the members-only Break Room or possibly some transitory purgatory.
