anybody please explain why steam turbines called "Back Pressure steam turbines- Sorry go to your Library and first study.

Contact Trevani, Mago Thermal Engineering India and for God's sake please first do all your web searching yourself.

Question: Are you qualified to do Turbine Engineering?

Are you referring to a back pressure steam turbine versus a condensing turbine? In the first the discharge will be low pressure steam. In the second the discharge is immediately condensed to water.

In the first the turgine uses only a small portion of thermal energy contained in the steam, but is very efficient in converting this to mechanical energy. Efficiencies in excess of 95% are possible. The low pressure steam can then be used for some heating process.

In the second all the steam energy is used by the turbine and condenser combination. Half or more is carried away by the condenser water at a relatively low and useless temperature to cooling towers. The rest is converted to mechanical energy. Mechanical efficiencies can be in the high 40% range.
