EV Best vs Gasoline Best at Nurburgring

EV record by VW 6:05.33

The limiting factor in the EV is obviously still weight and power drop off.

In the early part of the EV lap you can see it hits 270 kph on short straights but in the latter part it can't do better than 250 kph on the long home straight which is most likely due to battery power declining.

Whereas in the Porsche you can see it hits 349 kph in the early part of the lap and still hits 369 kph on full power on the long home straight.

Then the title to the thread ought to have used the word <...fastest...> instead of <...best...>. It's easy to confuse a goldfish.
